Elections become more confusing every four years. Almost 8 years ago Al Gore won the popular vote but lost the election. Now we learn that a couple of states violated some election format and we who live in those states may not be able to vote????
It seems that there are Delegates and Super Delegates and it is they who control the outcome of an election. Somewhere along the line "what used to be, ain't no more." These Delegates are privileged individuals and we must question both their credentials and their right to sway our votes.
Why can't we return to the good old days when one could enter a ballot box, vote and have their vote counted and the majority won?
Election reform will become a "must" when I am elected. The President must be elected by the people and no other influence should have any say in the process.
Our 19 point Platform spells out many things we intend doing once in office and returning America's choice of elected positions to the voters will have a priority.
As the election winds down, somewhere around October, we will burst upon the scene. The existing contenders will not understand how we were able to remain quietly in the background- then suddenly emerge as the front runners.
As I see it, if we did not enter this race our choices would be the least objectionable of choice. It is sad because we deserve a leader, a Statesman who can right the many wrongs we presently endure. One who can dramatically reduce the uncontrolled deficit. One who can bring peace to the world by respecting the rights of others and by establishing relationships with nations that presently hate us. One who can either turn the United Nation into a meaningful, cooperating body or evict them and turn the New York headquarters into a luxury home for the homeless.
